About the Competition
Competition Categories
The Australian Bartenders Guild National Championships will feature two national categories:
Classic Mixology
Create an original cocktail showcasing creativity, technique, flavour balance and presentation.
Flair Bartending
Showcase technical flair, creativity and entertainment through a dynamic flair bartending performance.
Represent Australia in Macau
The winner of each category will earn the opportunity to represent Australia in Macau from 18–24 October 2026, competing in two prestigious international championships:
Australasian Bartending Championship
IBA World Championship, alongside representatives from more than 67 countries.
This is your opportunity to represent Australia on the international stage, connect with bartenders from around the world, attend industry workshops and events, and be part of one of the most respected international bartending competitions.

How to Enter
Register ABG Membership (free).
Register and complete your competition entry.
Receive your sponsor products to begin creating your cocktail.
Develop your original low ABV recipe using the required ingredients.
Film a short video showcasing your cocktail creation.
Post your video on social media with your recipe in the caption before the closing date with the hashtag #ABG2026.
